What happens after I request to book online?
After you request to book we will respond to you within a few hours to confirm your request. If your request is accepted, you’ll be charged in full for the reservation. If for some reason we need to decline your request or do not respond within 24 hours, no charge is made and you can try booking those dates with someone else.
What are your check in/check out times?
Check-in time is no earlier than 3PM and check-out time is no later than 12PM on departure day. We are typically firm with our check-in and out times as early arrivals and late departures can affect our other reservations, but if you have extenuating circumsances please discuss them with us and we will do our best to accomodate your needs.
What do I need to bring with me?
We supply all the bedroom and bathroom linens and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, cookware/bakeware, appliances and utensils you will need. You may store 1 bag of groceries in our fridge if you like.
What is the maximum occupancy?
Our maximum occupancy is two (2) adults per room, a child <12 and/or 1 dog.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Please see our pet information tab. Limited to 1 dog per reservation unless other arrangements with us have been made prior to chek-in.
What happens if there is inclement weather or we decide to leave early?
We do not provide refunds or credits for inclement weather or early departures. The White Mountains have unpredictable weather that can change rapidly, as Mark Twain said “If you don't like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes.” If you decide to leave early for any reason, there will be no refund.
How do we check in?
We meet every guest at the home when they check-in to ensure you have all the information about the house that you need to fully enjoy your stay.
What if we have an emergency while at the home?
Always call 911 for any emergency. Our welcome book in the home also provides you with phone numbers of our local police, fire, hospitals and veternarians, as well as information about off-hour emergency veternarians in the area.
